With its focus on improving and expanding its IT and business infrastructure, Iloilo City has become one of the most progressive areas in Western Visayas. While the city has maintained its charming centuries-old churches and other colonial structures, it has also constructed a major business and IT hub, thus attracting more and more visitors from other Philippine regions or abroad who not only come for commercial purposes but also want a great satisfying leisure trip on the side. The Iloilo Business Park (IBP) aims at being the business and IT hub of Western Visayas with several BPO firms already operating in the area. Several luxury condominiums like The Palladium, One Madison Place, and Lafayette Park Square are underway.
There are numerous historical landmarks to be seen and experienced both in the city and its outskirts. You can make a side trip across the sea to lovely Guimaras Island or to the fascinating Gigantes Group of Islands at the northeastern part of Panay. Or cross the ferry to Bacolod City, another place rich in culture, history, and of course, great food.
Iloilo also prides itself as a major gastronomic hub in the region, especially its very own hearty batchoy and molo soups. In contrast to these traditional dishes, you can savor different types of ice cream concoctions and desserts at Desserts in the Sky which is quite near the business park.

The location itself is already a plus, as it is probably the only premier hotel in Iloilo Business Park offering five-star facilities and superb Class A services. Although you are in fact in a busy commercial district, you hardly feel the stress and rush that so characterize such types of places.
Richmonde Hotel Iloilo has 149 rooms in all, and among them are six luxury suites. Interiors exhibit quiet elegance amidst modern decor, all aimed at providing utmost pleasure and comfort to hotel guests.
A typical room has first-class amenities you’d expect from any five-star accommodation in any part of the world, such as electronic key card entry, central air-conditioning, wifi access, large 40 inch flatscreen TV with cable and ports, minibar with coffee maker, in-room safe, hair dryer, universal outlets, telephones in the bedroom and bathroom, iron and board, desk and chair, bedroom slippers, hot/cold shower, complimentary bottled water, and 100% backup power supply.

There are professional trainers ready to help you with your routines. Guests can use the locker rooms and showers. If you need to organize meetings or telecommute during your trip, the Business Center has all the office equipment and even provides secretarial assistance. The Atrium on the fifth floor is a great spot to have quick meetings, intimate chats, or just a relaxing quiet time.

To satisfy your gastronomic needs, the hotel has a large all-day restaurant called The Granary where breakfast buffets are served daily. Dinner buffets are served from Friday to Sunday. Food choices range from Filipino and local favorites like molo soup to international and even vegetarian fare.
And while the night is young, do try lounging, listening to entertaining music, and sipping cocktails at the Biz Bar. Sadly, it’s closed on Mondays which is the day we where there.
Alternatively, you can relax al-fresco style at the Pool Bar amidst the stars and dazzling city lights in the background.
Richmonde Hotel Iloilo provides secure covered parking, laundry, room service, and even medical assistance. If you need transportation to the other parts of the city, you can arrange for car rental. And for your journey back to your own city or town, the hotel also provides airport transfers.
